How to take a screenshot

The fastest ways to capture your screen and find the saved screenshot file.

Windows

Press Win + PrtScn to save a screenshot in Pictures → Screenshots. Use Win + Shift + S to select an area.

Mac

Command + Shift + 3 captures the whole screen. Command + Shift + 4 lets you select an area. Files usually save to the desktop.

iPhone

On Face ID models, press the side button and volume up. On Touch ID models, press the side button and Home.

Android

Usually press power and volume down together. Screenshots are saved in the gallery.
